About Tempest
Why did you start Tempest Pickleball?
Tempest Pickleball was founded in Kuala Lumpur by Malaysians out of a love for pickleball and a drive to create high-performance paddles. We think pickleball can be Malaysia's next great sport. Anyone can get into it, there's enough skill ceiling to keep it interesting, and it's extremely fun. So, we took matters into our own hands, developing paddles that deliver power, precision, and control for every player, from the first swing to the final point.

Shipping
Where does Tempest ship to?
Tempest Pickleball provides shipping worldwide!
What are your processing/shipment timelines?
Orders are usually processed within 1-2 business days. Standard free shipping takes approximately 1-14 business days for delivery depending on location. Orders placed over the weekend will ship the following Monday. Note that processing and shipping times may vary during product launches, high-volume periods, and holidays and are not guaranteed.

How much does shipping cost?
How can I track my order status?
Once your order has been shipped out, you will receive an email containing a tracking number so you can follow the status of your shipment. If it hasn't been shipped yet, you are always welcome to reach out at support@thetempestsport.com and we can look into it for you.
My tracking link says my shipment was delivered but I can't locate it. What do I do?
This can happen sometimes! Don't worry, we're here to help.
- Do a quick search around your property. Sometimes the carrier will attempt to hide the package to avoid theft. Generally the paddles are delivered in/at the mailbox or at the front porch.
- Check with your neighbors to see if they received your package.
- Check in with any front offices or mail rooms associated with your residence. Sometimes the package can be delivered in the wrong parcel locker but should be easily remedied by contacting the carrier or working with the mail room attendant.
- Wait 2 days. At times, carriers may mark packages delivered before they're actually dropped off.
- Contact the carrier (generally Flash Express, Ninjavan or Aramex) and give them your tracking number. They can help you track it down.
Cancels & Returns
Can I cancel or change my order?
Our team works to fulfil orders as quickly as possible, so if you notice that your order needs to be changed, please contact our team at support@thetempestsport.com right away!
We usually allow a 24-hour period between the time of order placement to when the order is sent to our fulfilment centre. After that, the order will be processed for shipment and will be unable to be changed.
How do returns work?
If you would like to return one or multiple paddles, please contact us at support@thetempestsport.com. We will provide you with an address for your return.
You will be responsible for covering return shipping to us. Once the return is received, we will proceed with the refund process.
Can I exchange my paddle for a different design/colour?
You can exchange for a different design or colour provided the paddle is unused and the plastic is still covering the grip. Contact support at support@thetempestsport.com and let us know which design you want. We will give you an address to ship your return and you will be responsible for covering return shipping.
How does your 30-day performance guarantee work?
We offer a 30-day Performance Guarantee which means you can return the paddle new or used for a refund within that window. Normal wear and tear is to be expected on any sporting equipment but we are happy to replace/refund in instances where the performance of the paddle is affected or if you are unhappy with the paddle. We are unable to refund more than the original full cost of the order so you would have to pay for return shipping. Please contact support at support@thetempestsport.com to initiate a return.

Is there a way to order a specific paddle weight?
We don't have a way to send you a specific paddle weight. Our paddles range between 7.7-8.0 ounces.
What is the grip size?
Our grips are 5.5" long with a 4.25" grip circumference.
Why are your paddles so affordable?
Tempest works directly with our manufacturing partners to cut out the middle-man and offer the highest quality paddles at the most fair price on the market. We believe that pickleball is the most accessible sport out there, and we want our prices to reflect that!
What materials are used in the construction of a Tempest paddle?
Tempest paddles are made from high-quality materials, including a 100% raw Carbon Fibre surface. They feature a polypropylene honeycomb core, foam-injected walls, and thermoformed for durability.
Are Tempest paddles suitable for players of all skill levels?
Yes, our paddles cater to a wide range of skill levels. The Tempest paddle is perfect for casual players and weekend warriors seeking a budget-friendly yet performance-oriented option, as well as more advanced players who demand the best from their equipment.
What are the dimensions and weight of a Tempest paddle?
Tempest paddles are 7.45" wide, 16.5" long, and 16mm thick. They weigh 7.7-8.0oz.
